AJ'S HELPING HANDS DRAW
As a local family, my wife Karissa and I see and hear about some of the challenges and struggles people in our community face. We know we can’t help everyone, but we thought that maybe we could do something small that could hopefully make a meaningful difference to someone who really needs it. So we created AJs Helping Hands.
If you know a senior who could use a helping hand with lawn mowing or snow removal, we’d love to hear from you. Simply nominate them for a chance to receive one of our seasonal packages.
Each year we will be selecting two winners through two separate draws, with one winner receiving a season of lawn care and another receiving a season of snow removal.
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to nominate someone, share our Helping Hands Draw, or simply support what we’re trying to do. We truly wish we could help everyone, and we’re grateful to be part of such a caring community.
We are proud to share some of the seniors we've had the privilege of helping through
AJs Helping Hands.
SUMMER 2026 - Annie
Congratulations to Annie our 2026 Summer Helping Hands winner. It was a pleasure to get to know her and we were honored to provide a full season of lawn care for her this summer.
WINTER 2026-2027 - Jean
Congratulations to Jean, our 2026–2027 Winter Helping Hands winner! We’re grateful for the opportunity to provide a full season of snow removal and make winter a little easier for her.
THE ADVENURES OF CAPTAIN CLIPPINGS
At AJ’s Lawn Care Plus, we believe lawn care is about more than just cutting grass. It’s about creating smiles, building community, and adding a little extra fun along the way.
That’s why we created Captain Clippings!
Throughout the season, Captain Clippings quietly travels across Leduc and occasionally makes a surprise appearance in one of our customers’ garden beds.
If you spot him:
1. Snap a photo
2. Share it on Facebook or Instagram
3. Tag @ajslawncareplus
As a thank you, you’ll receive a surprise AJ’s upgrade or gift! No one knows where Captain Clippings will appear next…Will your garden be his next stop?
